The third installment of the rebooted Jurassic Park franchise will conclude the new set of films. Following Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady and his team of animal trainers as they continue to try and foster new jurassic life all the while grappling with the fact that their genetic mutations and discoveries no longer guarantee them dominion over the food chain. Laura Dern and Sam Neill reprise their roles as Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler, first introduced in Stephen Spielberg’s 1993 critically acclaimed film. Colin Trevorrow returns to direct this climatic finale for the Jurassic World franchise in what’s anticipated to be another box office hit even if it staggers in positive positive based on the performance of the last two films.

The Black Phone

From Sinister and Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson comes a new supernatural horror film that’ll give you a gut-wrenching scare just by watching the trailer. The story follows a 13-year-old boy Finney (Mason Thames) who’s abducted by a masked mad-man posing as a magician to lure the boy into his trap. When the Finney wakes up he’s in a room only with a black phone that rings ominously. While plotting to escape his captor’s clutches Finney’s sister Gwen (Madeleine McGraw) starts having vicious nightmares that are slowly revealing details to where her brother might be held captive. Visionary actor/director Ethan Hawke stars as The Grabber, the villain of this haunting story based on the book of the same name by Joe Hill. The film originally was supposed to premiere in February but was pushed back to June most likely due to the rush of films that premiered in February like Moonfall and Jackass Forever.
