One of Marvel’s Strongest Characters in the Universe Arrives |

December 1, 2022 — While the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. III trailer touts the end of an era in the MCU, one of the strongest, if not the strongest character in the MCU is shown in the trailer aggressively pounding on Nebula.
Who is Adam Warlock? We got a glimpse of the humanoid in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. II. post-credit stinger. In response to stealing the Sovereigns’ battery, the high priestess Ayesha creates Adam Warlock to get payback. Adam Warlock’s original comic book entity is a bit more complex with a completely different origin. He was actually created by a group of scientists known as the Enclave and joined the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Adam Warlock was also known for a short period of time as the Living Tribunal, most fan sites place him in the top three when he absorbed the essence of the Living Tribunal. Only Heart of the Universe and The One Above All would be superior in abilities during this time. He’s known to have variants from Earth-616 to Earth-19141 with the Living Tribunal combo existing in Earth-19141. Eventually, both Adam Warlocks would merge across the multiverse. At this point, Adam Warlock becomes a singular entity across the multiverse, making him a nexus being. When Adam Warlock absorbs or becomes both himself and the Living Tribunal, he follows the Living Tribunal’s bound nature — he cannot interfere with events. It’s safe to say the MCU won’t introduce Adam Warlock to the Living Tribunal entity, but should it happen you now have a better understanding of his background. |
