Dollface Season 2 Returns With New Faces and The Promise of More Romantic Drama

Comedy Star Kat Dennings is reprising her role as Jules Wiley, the hopeless romantic with a big heart and even bigger imagination in Dollface Season 2. The show who’s new season is set to premiere on Hulu on February 11th follows the story of Kat Dennings’s Jules who’s dumped by her longtime boyfriend and sets out to reconnect with her feminine self and her friends that were put on the backburner in the midst of her relationship.

Executively produced by Margot Robbie and starring child stars Brenda Song and Shay Mitchell, Dollface is a female dramady for the ages. The plot of Season 2 follows our main cast of ladies setting up a female bar where they can “have rosé on tap and scream at the TV while watching The Bachelor.” Youtube and late-night star Lilly Singh is joining the cast, hopefully bringing her large online audience with her. Fans of the show are highly anticipating the new season release and are ready to curl up on the couch with their girlfriends and a glass of wine-just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Hulu’s “Pam & Tommy” Tells the Story of Love, Sex, and Scandals

February 2- Pam and Tommy

Hulu’s new original follows the infamous story of Baywatch star and Playboy model Pamela Anderson and Mötley Crüe founder Tommy Lee.  The two were married in the mid-90s and shortly after attended their honeymoon in Cancun. As if their love story from two different worlds wasn’t fascinating enough, in 1997 contractor Rand Gauthier distributed VHS copies of a sex tape that was filmed during their trip. With the addition of the budding internet and scandal-hungry Hollywood reporters, the film was soon seen by millions and is revered today as one of the most appalling and simultaneously interesting sex scandals in American history.

The limited series, premiering in early February features a star-studded cast including Marvel star Sebastian Stan as Tommy Lee and English actress Lily James as Pamela Anderson. Comedy kings Seth Rogen and Nick Offerman also make appearances as the schemers who stole and leaked the private tape. The series is being directed by Craig Gillespie, the man behind films Lars and The Real Girl,  I, Tonya and the recent Disney origin story Cruella. Audiences and critics alike are already anticipating the show’s success and hoping it encourages Hulu to tackle more scandalous stories in the future.
