The highly anticipated sequel to 2019’s Downtown Abbey will feature the high regarded Crawley family venturing to the South of France visiting a mysterious newly inherited villa. The British drama which first premiered in 2010 follows the Crawleys as they navigate royal life and many significant historical events such as the sinking of the Titanic and the first world war. The show ended in 2015 much to the dismay of fans who loved the vibrant and immersive setting of 20th century Britain. Hope was restored in 2018 with the announcement of a film adaption of the same name following the same characters. The first film received mostly positive reviews and fans are hoping A New Era expands upon the vast world and its integral characters. The Bob’s Burgers Movie
Get ready for some summer sizzling fun! Fox’s Emmy-award-winning adult sitcom is getting its own movie adaptation much to the surprise of fans. The show which first premiered in 2011, follows Bob Belcher (H. Jon Benjamin), his wife Linda (John Roberts), and their three rambunctious children Tina (Dan Mintz), Gene (Eugene Mirman), and Louise (Kristen Schaal). The movie will follow the Belcher family as their summer plans are halted when a giant sinkhole forms right in front of their family-owned burger restaurant. Stakes are raised, risks are taken, and the familial bond is tested in this new comedy. Though fans are wondering how Bob’s Burgers will fit on the big screen, the original voice cast and traditional animation look promising and hopefully will draw in more viewership for this beloved series. Rite of the Shaman
Kai is a mute high school student who is taking care of his fatally ill mother. He finds solace in botany and nature, as well as memories of his late grandfather, who was a shaman and owl trainer. While trying to grieve and cope with loss, Kai struggles to navigate the pressures of high school, as well as the pressures of caring for his mother. He spirals into depression and pushes away everyone that he loves, especially after discovering how bad his mother’s cancer really is. Ultimately Kai is faced with a decision. Will he continue to descend down the dark path he is heading toward, and will he continue to spread negativity and hate? Or will he become the healer and beacon of light that he was truly meant to be?
