PHILADELPHIA, PA. — In a year of great uncertainty and high stakes for gender equality, 10,000 women are expected to gather in Philadelphia just two days after Election Day.
The Pennsylvania Conference for Women, the largest conference for women in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, will be held at the 2024 Pennsylvania Convention Center on Thursday, Nov. 7, two days after the national election. It will be a day to stand together in unity.
As a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization, the Conference has supported the advancement of all women in the workplace and beyond for more than 20 years. This year, organizers are making that nonpartisan stand front and center.
In addition to scheduling the event during the same week as Election Day, the theme of this year’s conference is “Power in Unity.”

Barbara Corcoran is a business mogul, investment guru, podcaster, and top-selling author. However, she is best known for her smart wit and business savvy as a TV personality and executive producer on the four-time Emmy Award-winning show Shark Tank.
Martha Stewart is a noted entrepreneur, famed cookbook author, television personality, and former fashion model.
Diana Nyad, is a world champion athlete, author, and subject of the Oscar-nominated film Nyad, starring Annette Bening.
Robin Arzón, VP of Fitness Programming & Head Instructor at Peloton, two-time New York Times best-selling author and “Good Morning America” correspondent.
Sheryl Lee Ralph, Emmy Award-winning actress, Emmy-nominated producer, and author who appears in Philadelphia’s TV show, “Abbott Elementary.”
Joyce M. Abbott, the award-winning educator who inspired “Abbott Elementary” and former Staff Sergeant with the U.S. Army – will make a guest appearance.
