Ana de Armas Transforms Into Marilyn Monroe in Netflix’s Blonde

Based on the novel of the same name that dove into the myths and marvels of the iconic Hollywood star, Blonde is heading to Netflix this September. Directed by Andrew Dominik(Chopper), the film follows the star-studded but tragic life of the late Marilyn Monroe who is still regarded as one of the most recognizable bombshells in American history. Monroe starred in many films throughout the 50s and 60s including Gentlemen Prefer BlondesSome Like It Hot, and more. Ana de Armas, known for action films No Time To DieBlade Runner 2049, and others is now taking on the challenging role. Based on the teaser alone, she has already delivered on the resemblance factor. Though the film’s release is months away, critics and fans alike are already astounded by de Armas’s replication of Monroe’s iconic style and the moments that simultaneously brought her to fame and spiraled her into a state of misery.

Tommy Chong is Reprising his Role in That 90s Show

With our ever-increasing obsession with nostalgia it was only a matter of time before nostalgic comedy That 70s Show received a spinoff. Fans were delighted to hear that they’d be traveling back to Wisconsin to revisit the old crew, but this time in the 90s. Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp are returning to play Red and Kitty and its just been announced that Tommy Chong will return to play Leo. Chong let the news out in an interview with Dark Mark on Youtube.

Also returning is Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Topher Grace, and Laura Prepon. Unfortunately Danny Masterson is not returning due to legal issues. There are some new cast members as well as our favorite characters have grown up and started families since we last saw them. Callie Haverda, Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Acee Donovan, Reyn Doi, and Sam Morelos have all been added to the new cast. There’s no release date for That 90s Show but its likely to arrive on Netflix later this year

Stranger Things’ Final Season Breaks Netflix’s Most-Watched Record

After a 3 year hiatus, fans of the 80s sci-fi horror series Stranger Things are ready to join Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Max, and Eleven back into the mysterious and dangerous land of the Upside Down. The Duffer Brothers who created the iconic series announced that like many recent Netflix finales, the final season would be split into two parts. Season 4 volume 1 premiered on May 27th, 2022, and broke the record for the most-watched premiere on Netflix which previously belonged to period drama Bridgerton. According to Netflix statistics, the beginning of the end of this culturally catastrophic series was viewed for 287 million hours. The platform is anticipating even more viewership when the second half of the final season releases on July 1st of this year.  The series also took the number 3 spot in Netflix’s top titles and was plastered across the home page the day of its premiere.
